Standing Strong, Standing Together
2024 End of Year Campaign for African Community Education
Even in challenging times, we move forward together, cultivating a community and world where African and Haitian immigrant and refugee families thrive. We know we will have to do more in 2025 than ever before to provide a safe, welcoming space and community for Worcester’s refugees and immigrants.

Strength through Community.
ACE began in 2006 as a small tutoring group for African immigrant and refugee youth. Over the years, we have grown into a vibrant community that now serves youth and adult from African and Haitian communities. At ACE, we celebrate culture, foster belonging, and provide essential resources for refugee and immigrant families to build new lives with confidence.
Together, we:
- build lasting connections and stand by adults and youth through our Outreach Team
- host community events and cultural celebrations as big as the ACE Festival and as tight-knit as After School Honor Roll celebrations
- create a sense of belonging where every individual feels valued inside and outside the ACE building
Strength through Empowerment.
Empowerment is at the heart of everything we do at ACE. Through education, mentorship, and advocacy, we give individuals and families the tools they need to thrive.
At ACE, we empower through community-oriented as well as individual programming. We:
- offer job readiness workshops, skill training, and career pathway support through our Career Development Program to help individuals and families achieve financial independence
- provide academic tutoring and enrichment activities for youth in our After School and Saturday Programs
- lead ESOL classes for adults of all linguistic backgrounds
- equip participants in the ACE Sewing Program with the skills and tools to launch a career or business in professional tailoring
Now is the time to invest in ACE. Your support ensures that ACE will have the tools to thrive in 2025 and beyond!
